It's a Hostel, so as you'd expect basic "cheap as chips" accommodation. It is clean, convenient & no riff-raff. More than adequate for our purposes. Be advised though that if you are returning after a day/night out, the hill up to the hostel is a killer! Would recommend & will return.
I find it very difficult to review this. The staff were absolutely lovely as were the other guests. However, I felt very misled by the advertising. It was extremely noisy (I was woken at 4 am by footsteps above my room and as the people upstairs were dancers, I cannot think anything except it has zero sound insulation). I also didn’t realize it would not provide towels. I paid £95 and then was expected to pay £2 for a towel. Breakfast included was rice crispies or oats. Completely misleading advertising. Super disappointing after walking the canals from Halifax and hoping to shower and warm up. I could have had a much nicer room in a hotel not up a massive hill for the same price.
