Summer 2016

After an always wonderful meal at the True North, the sun was starting to fall which sparked life into the clouds above. To pretty to leave without a photo.

Peggy's Cove located on the south end of Nova Scotia approx. 43 KM from Halifax. It consists of a very small fishing community which often see's a huge flux of visitors during the summer months. Parking is free but limited during prime time. While beautiful to see - they cannot stress enough for people to stay off the black rocks, and avoid during storm season. While I was here someone tripped on a rock and cracked their nose. It is recorded that the town is possibly named after Saint Margaret's Bay (Peggy being the nickname of Margaret) in which Samuel de Champlain named after his mother Marguerite. There is a restaurant nearby, geocaching, a small gift shop and a few local vendors.
