Spacious clean room and ensuite. Nice hotel with friendly staff. The hotel was very covid conscious and clean. It is well located and the Hakuba valley shuttle bus stops at the hotel. While the buffet breakfast was nice, the on-site French restaurant - Chamonix was disappointing. The staff made us pre-order food when we booked the table and we couldn’t adapt meals to cater for gluten free. The food was OK but the overall dining experience was underwhelming.

The hotel is great. A bit of a walk (15-20 minute) to the village. The town offers a shuttle bus which take you to the ski locations and stops at a variety of drop off locations. It would be nice if the hotel would offer their shuttle, then you would not have to wait for the town shuttle or pay the expensive taxi rates (if you could get a taxi). Allot of walking or better yet bring a car.

We have never had such helpful staff member .Romain acted like a tour guide as well as English speaking contact at the hotel.He new about ,lift tickets ,the ski resorts ,rental gear,restaurants,taxis ,clubs and bars,transport to and from Hakuba ,bus time tables ,etc etc . And he did it all with a smile on his face and helped make our holiday a beauty! The hotel has a very good spa and bus services run to ski fields pretty regularly .

Guest relations spoke English, very helpful and provided good suggestions for e.g. restaurants. Housekeeping was very efficient and considerate. Onsen was constantly cleaned and was spacious.

The hotel has a beautiful "backyard" that takes you back to the nature. Lovely onsen and well setup change room with all amenities that you need.

Best overall option in Hakuba
This hotel is fantastic, remodeled and very quiet super spa and spring. For the price this is one of the very best in Hakuba. Easy walk to Gondola without having to stay right in town. Perfect!

It was a very pleasing experience to stay here. Close enough to town (only a 10-15 minute walk) and the room was very spacious, clean and well appointed. Staff very nice. Buffet breakfast was pretty generic but the staff are super attentive and the chef makes a fantastic omelette to order right there in the restaurant. Ski gear hire available in hotel (Head skis) and complimentary ski locker too. Tried the snack menu and bar service at the Lounge Bar and was very good too. The hotel is well serviced by the ski shuttle buses to take you to different fields as well.

If in Hakuba Happo area, stay in Tokyo Hakuba
Good location if skiing around Happo area. There are close by eateries if one doesn't fancy hotel dining. Excellent mountain view from the room.

We wish we had more time!
We loved our stay at the Hakuba Tokyu Hotel! We only had 2 nights in the area but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the Happo One Gondola (and other ski resorts if necessary) and to the train station - very helpful! It is in an excellent location - close to the Happo One Gondola and plenty of places to eat. We ate in the hotel itself and the food and service were excellent. The onsen was incredibly clean and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Not ski in ski out at all. Try a bus ride to the slopes. Why pay so much for a hotel so far from the lifts?

One of the best hotels in Japan
Great room (all rooms are good), very well serviced. A lot of new English speaking staff for the start of the season that don't know a lot, but it probably is the best hotel in Hakuba and we recommend that you stay there.

Excellent choice of ski hotel in Happo One
Near, but not at the lifts. A quiet hotel. 2 good restaurants, Japanese and French. Will pick you up at train or bus. More than half of staff speak very good English.

清潔で落ち着ける
白馬乗鞍岳登山を終えて夫婦で利用しました。 エントランス、ロビー、廊下、客室ドアのライティングに至るまで清潔で品が良い。所々に花が活けてあり落ち着きと快さを感じた。 朝食の味付け、種類豊富で満足しました。テーブルにも短くカットしたカーネーションが飾られていた。鳥のからあげと餃子を他の品に変更があってもよいかと思いました。 ウェルカムドリンクが少々薄かったこと、帰り客を送るドアマンがいなかったことは残念でした。全体的な雰囲気は気に入ったので機会があればまた利用したいと思います。

コロナの影響でスタッフさんも少なく、レストランが一部閉鎖するなど、様々な制限がありながらも、スタッフさん達から何とか良いサービスを提供しようとの気持ちが伝わってきました。とても良かった。 いつもスキーシーズンに利用しており、グリーンシーズンは初めての利用でしたが、混雑することなく、ゆったりしていて、居心地が良かったです。

古い施設ではあるが綺麗に管理されている コロナの影響か人員数が少なくチェックイン時フロント周りにはスタッフがいなかった また質の良い朝食ブュッフェもセット定食に変更されるもスタッフの素晴らしい接客で 優雅な朝食を味わえた
