"This was a surprise delight. My family stayed here on our journey between Basel and Munich and found the area lovely, with loads of scenic walks. The hotel is clean and the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the village. The bed was on the firm side, but the room’s temperature was not too hot. "First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."
