Such an amazing amd excellent hotel. All the facilities within the hotel was very clean, felt luxurious. The rooms were a nice size for 2 people. Onsen and sauna was a reward for long cold days. If you are able to stay awake, the free ramen is delicious. Very convenient to have laundry facilities on the property. After staying at this our hotel, we were very spoiled and other hotels we stayed at for the remainder of the trip was definitley a downgrade. We will visit again and look forward to staying at this beautiful hotel.

Convivial atmosphere.
A small room but ergonomically designed to feel bigger. Little touches like a dessert treat in the fridge give a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent shower comfortable bed . Quiet room with a view of the horizon. Delightful stay. Providing an excellent breakfast. Doing everything right.

Property far from jr shinkansen located in city centre, nearest local jr station station at honhachinohe. Everything is good in dormy onsen bf, room, service except location far from Jr shinkansen hachinohe station

Very charming hotel in downtown Hachinohe. Walkable to the art museum, the JR line, and multiple dining options. If you like fruit, there is a fancy fruit parlor on the walk to the JR train. Staff is multi-lingual, attentive, and caring. The top floor amenities (popsicles, probiotics) were a big hit with our 12 year old.

Hotel that seems to be frequented by Japanese vacationers for the on site hot bath. Bath and shower are wonderful, rooms are very small. I ordered a queen not realizing that it’s smaller than a double you might want to check the square footage. Don’t pay for on-site breakfast. You can get much better meal for half price anywhere outside of there. Also, be forewarned, onsen baths are not to be used by those with tattoos. This is typical in a public Japanese bath. The hot mineral baths are really special. There are 2 hot soaking areas, a round pot for single use, a cold bath, hot sauna, many showering stations . They are located on the top floor and one of the hot bath is open to the sky. Spa clothing to be worn to the onsen is provided.

The room is small by western standards but has everything one needs in a room. The bed was comfortable and they had additional pillows available for us upon request. I also enjoyed the easily adjustable AC. Plenty of dining options in walking distance Did not use the hot baths and I regret that

Staff were so thorough and friendly. Nightly free ramen at the hotel. This is the best neighborhood in Hachinohe. I was concerned because it was away from the main station but it’s where all the good things are.

Good hotel, plan accordingly for parking
Three night business trip. Parking is first come first serve and it's via a parking elevator so your departure and return time are requested for planning. You get one out and in privilege if you are staying two nights or more, and if you are fourth in line for your car you are waiting for about 20 minutes so plan ahead. The check in was standard and the room is nice. As all of my reviews state for Japanese hotels; the rooms are small and the bed and pillows are hard...get used to it in this country. There is an Onsen which is included in the price. Nothing like a nice hot spring bath followed by a tall, cold beer (from the vending machine in the Onsen) to end the night. Location is good for eating and drinking establishments; find the izakaya alley just two blocks away. Magnificient. Parking was the worst of it, but not a downer, and I will stay there again for my next visit. This time I will be sure to plan ahead for parking though.

First time in 八戸
I’m a regular at Dormy Inn. I would stay at the Dormy in Akihabara when visiting Tokyo. This is my first trip to Hachinohe. The breakfast was good and I loved the evening noodles. I will stay here again!

Gateway to the hiking coastal route
As you would expect compact, clean, efficient and helpful staff. The best shower in a Japanese budget hotel to date. Great local bakery and nightlife. The nearest train station is 1km away which is ok but not ideal. You need the trains to visit the tourist spots or walk the coastal route.
