My wife and I stayed in the Elegance room for 2 nights. We were surprised to find that we had nearly a full quarter of the stern of the cruise boat on the first floor deck. The view from our room was exceptional to say the least. We also had a massage chair and a large jet bath with a huge bay view window located in a large bathroom. Cons tho, breakfast is at 6:30am everyday and set meals at night, tho delicious, were 5 courses and 7 if you also savoured the pre dinner snacks/fruits and samples from the food classes. Be prepared for some over indulging! The tour schedules are full on so be ready for a non-stop itinerary and just be amazed by the experience. A big shout out to our assistants Ms Jasmine and Ms Jessica who ensured our trip was most memorable!

Would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a get away in Ha Long bay. The whole experience from start to finish was super organized and theyve thought through everything to make the guests experience the best it could be. To start our server Sam was the most attentive and thoughtful server we could ask for. Always greeted us with a smile and over the 3 days remembered my wifes allergy and let her know what she could or could not eat. And the kitchen staff left it out of the cooked meals if it could be made without it. The food was also amazing, we were stuffed after each of the 5 course meals and wanted to eat more but had no room. The activities were spread out and lots of fun. We did the 3D2N and had so much fun on our day trip to Catba island. They put us on a beautiful smaller boat with a rooftop to enjoy the sun. Then biking around the island and learning about the history. Even had a fish manicure. Then the kayaking around and being able to stop at a beach that me and my wife had to our selves is one of the top highlights from any trip we’ve ever been on. Nothing beats waking up to the beautiful view and highly reccomend to anyone looking to visit and Mon Cheri is definetly a top pick for us. The perfect amount of relaxation and not having to worry about being on a party boat.

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible experience aboard Mon Cheri! Our room had stunning views, the staff were unbelievably friendly and attentive, and every activity was perfectly organized from start to finish. We loved every second of our two-day cruise and genuinely wished it didn’t have to end. A special shoutout to Ben, who went above and beyond to oversee our dining experience and make sure our dietary restrictions were carefully accommodated - he was amazing. We’ll be recommending Mon Cheri to all our family and friends. Highly recommended!

Overall I had a lovely two days and one night on my Mon Cheri Cruise. The room was very tidy, the crew was kind, and the food was great! One thing that I did not enjoy is, as a female solo traveler, I was not prioritized like the couples and families on the boat. For meals we had assigned seating. I was placed at very small patio table in the corner or off to the side of the buffet away from the views of the bay. This left me feeling like I wasn't as valued as the others on the boat. It made me feel more like an after thought. In the future I would suggest keeping this in mind for travelers traveling solo. All in all, the trip around Ha Long Bay is one of the best things I have ever done.

Our cruise had a number of kids on board. Therefore, the cooking demonstration and squid fishing were very kids oriented and we were unable to enjoy them. The cooking demonstration waa quite basic - it was just fresh spring rolls. Overall, we had a lot of idle time ... which some people may enjoy. We wished that there were some more activities for the cruise to be value of money e.g. more sight seeing or a more elaborate cooking class.

The cruise itself is amazing with stunning scene. The activities are appropriate for a night stay. The staffs on board are very caring and friendly. It makes our stay very pleasant. The ship itself is also very good. Restaurant is comfortable and the choice of food is also very good. Don't miss their happy hour when some exotic drinks can be ordered. The assisting cabin manager Bill is very helpful and he also acted very responsibly in every activities. Tai chi at the deck at 6:15 in the morning was also very refreshing. One unpleasant thing was the toilet not working properly even after 2 repairs. Proper maintenance is definitely needed. Otherwise, it is a great cruise and we would surely come back with Mon Cheri and probably go for 2 nights next time on a different route.

Everything was good, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The facilities are amazing. Plus it is the only cruise in Halong Bay that served halal certified food which is a definitely a plus point for muslim travelers. Side note, they do served pork but as informed by one of the staff, they have two separate kitchen to prepare for the halal meal.They also offer a return shuttle from Hanoi Old Quarter to cruise terminal at 35USD per person. Overall it is highly recommended.

Mon Cheri provides top-notch service at every turn! The facilities, food and staff were all impressive. We took the luxury shuttle from Hanoi. It had reclining seats and excellent wifi. When we arrived in Ha Long we were ushered to a small waiting room with free bottled water and wifi. After just a short wait we were ushered to a small boat that took us to the larger cruise ship. The crew was waiting for us upon boarding with cool towels and fresh-brewed tea. We felt like royalty from that first moment until disembarking the following day!

Good experience

Everything was as advertised. The boat was in great condition And our room was big and clean. The room had a nice balcony for two people to sit. Check in was easy and everything was on schedule. The cruise is run on a schedule and it’s to the minute. The food was really good and they also had a great selection from the bar. The staff are very attentive and make sure you are well take care of. We have zero complaints about Mon Cheri cruises

We were happy with our stay as we received complimentary upgrade as well. Staff was quite friendly and attentive Clean and well maintained cruise. Food was good. Daily excursions planned for guests were good
