「Place is old and runndown」

「I stayed in El Beaterio for 4 nights. It’s such a beautiful casa museo located in a quiet area. The room is nice and clean decorated with old maps of La española. The courtyard has lots of sunlight and plants that I enjoyed my breakfast here (though you need to apply mosquito repellent as they are quite active if you come in early morning like 6-8am) Check out the terrace in the early morning and you would get a nice photo with sun rise. 「Basic but comfortable accommodation, ideal for short stays. Amenities are simple, but not bad for the price. Good A/C and a comfortable bed. Helpful staff, especially the receptionist. Check-in across the street at Hotel Guarocuya. For this room, I suggest adding a lamp to make nighttime use easier, as one light switch controls both the room and bathroom lights. This was the only downside during my stay, and I shared this feedback with them.」
