Staff are helpful. I just wish all staffs were able to speak English as Guangzhou is a business center these days. However, I think it's good effort where they make sure at least one person is able to speak English. Property is clean. Stayed at the suite and they have in room laundry, although, laundry detergent wasn't provided so it's a little hassle. There is a minimarket connected to hotel for convenience. Definitely will stay here again.

No service room. On check in they will ask you to pay in advance 200% of your bill as deposit. Even when I put the sign of NO DISTURB as I was very jet lagged and wanted to sleep they knocked the door 3 times and then they came in!! The lady said "Oh the cleaner want to know if she can come to do your room ".

Thoughtful service
No frills room, and usual disposable items like comb, razor, toothbrush are not provided in the rooms but available for guests who require them to take them from the lobby. No cutlery is provided in room either so we obtained a disposable pack of fork knife spoon from the restaurant in the hotel. Very thoughtful housekeeping service - our plastic spoon broke and during housekeeping they left us a new pack of the cutlery without us requesting! Pleasant experience.

The place waas great , we love it , nice for bussines trip , i was surprise with a robot that they have , that brings you anything you ask , water , extratowels , etc,... But service in reception was not good experience , i bought there a SIM card for $40 and it didnt work , and when i show it to them they say it was my cellphone problem , i lost so much time arguing about this that really made my time there unpleasend. Rest was ok.

Some one is smosked at the elevater room of 9th floor during the night. I did not hear any sound alarm. They have to chech fire alarm system to avoid a fire accident. Except this, wverything was good.

It is mentioned in my booking that there is A) a private bathroom; B) Deep soaking bathtub, and C) Hydromassage shower head. The room was a 100% misrepresentation of the room that was provided. Had this not been the case I would have booked another hotel. On the same day, I had actually called the hotels.com team in regards to the situation, but the front desk not only did not address this issue with me, they completely ignored it. As a Marriott Gold member, the 'non-addressed' issue makes me wonder if there is any difference between a gold member or a regular walk in customer?! It is totally unacceptable and appalling to say the least. The issue was also not addressed with me during the duration of my 3 days stay, and also during my check-out. The only person that had impressed me the most was actually the cleaner on the 9th floor, which I stayed; she was a very nice lady which actually made me felt like a valued guest; unlike the front desk which should have did their job.

Chinese standards, this hotel is pretty awesome. Breakfast is descent. My biggest problem has to do with shower drains. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in many different rooms and drain in shower just doesn't drain so you end up standing in a puddle of water while showering. My room was actually cold and since building was in "Cooling" mode, I just turned off the AC so it doesn't get any colder.

Good place to stay. Value for money too. 2 things - when you goto your room, you have to change your lift on level 4. 2nd, getting a cab here was always very difficult. I think it’s due to the area.

Robot that delivers the room service was cool, room is ok, but the internet is bad, very bad, you have to call the front desk several times a day and they don’t fix it. If it weren’t for that, I would stay here again. Oh, another thing, you have to walk a bit to get to shopping centers and restaurants.
