"It’s literally in the center of the Old Town. Couldn’t have a better location. The room with balcony on the last floor is charming. I wish we stayed longer than just one night. "When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. Hanging them on the (turned off) towel dryer in the bathroom made the clothes not dry at all in 2 days as the bathroom was always very, very humid. "A lovely hotel, beautifully converted in a traditional building. Our room had an interesting street -scene mural on one wall, which added to the historical touches within the building. An extensive breakfast set us up for sightseeing each day, plenty of choices including local options. We couldn't fault it in any way. The reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful. One lady went above and beyond when helping us with a question about bus tickets to get to the railway station - she volunteered to buy the tickets for us and leave them with a colleague on reception so we could collect them when checking out. This was a lovely gesture and much appreciated - she said she didn't want payment, but we left the money at reception the next day. Many thanks for a memorable stay in this beautiful town."
