"Knowing this was an older hotel we were a little nervous that the rooms might smell musty, or things would be very dated, but we were pleasantly surprised as soon as we opened the door. The room was extremely clean, no smells whatsoever and yes, even though the decor was a tad rustic I really liked the look of the room. Our room had a small frig but heard another guest say their room did not. My only complaint would be the comforter on the bed was a little thin and no extra blankets were in the room. The staff were all so sweet and gave us some suggestions of things we could do while waiting to leave for a concert at The Caverns. All in all this was 9/10 "

"Smoke detector chirping in middle of night- went to front desk to get a new battery/ told me to unplug it myself and she would leave a note for maintenance. AC unit excessive loud otherwise property nice."

"We booked this at the last minute and couldn’t have picked a more charming hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. We also had dinner at Elsie’s Daughter, and both the food and the atmosphere were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back when we can stay a little longer. Highly recommend."

"The shower was leaking and had mold on the curtains. The doors were exterior like a motel not a hotel. the beds and rooms were decently clean. just woke up and left, didn't take a shower or eat breakfast. just wanted to get out of there asap."

"They canceled our reservation the day before check in. Then called the day of check in and said they had a room. We stopped in and it was so dirty. Bugs all over the bathroom and in the room. Beds were a mattress on a metal base. They were only full size, not queen. We didn’t stay. "

"Walls were a little thin. Had people next door come in later after being out and slammed their door causing wall to shake. Could hear them arguing. "
