「This is our second stay at Doghouse, Columbus, the first time being in 2022. The room was clean but a little tired this time but the breakfast was better and the stay was worthwhile. Staff went from excellent to very poor. We had dinner in the main bar and Lily was outstanding. In the hotel bar/reception on the evening of our stay, 2 staff were sitting in a corner on their mobile phones and then they disappeared. 「Our experience on April 15 was absolutely traumatizing. This hotel is "absolutely disgusting" and profoundly "unhygienic." The moment we walked in, we were hit with a nauseating, thick smell of mildew and decay that made it hard to breathe. The safety issues were even more alarming. Our room door looked like it had been beaten down—the frame was splintered and the lock was compromised. It felt incredibly "dangerous" and completely insecure. Inside, the room was "gross" beyond belief: stained...

Phenomenal staff - but 3 stars would be generous (it’s 2 stars @Expedia for their advertisement of this property.. not this property. The property is doing its best)」

「We had very little to complain about it's a nice place vintage feel, and the wifi was down but fixed the next day all issues were handled pretty quickly however some issues like the shower needing an upgrade, and no instructions for the heater were the only negatives for my wife and I. 」

「My grandkids and I enjoyed the room, it was clean and had great bathroom amenities. The breakfast was very good. The only downside was the pool was closed for renovations.」

「There was remodeling going on in other areas but didn't affect us at all. Room was remodeled and very nice. Had everything we needed, Breakfast was also very good. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and this was the first place in a long time that had things I could actually eat. Will definitely stay again. If I had to think of any improvements it would be that my pillows were way to soft and squishy. Lol! Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!」
