We had a really wonderful stay at the Maison Gorey hotel in Jersey. We loved that it was in a quiet area yet with still plenty to do and see and several buses running regularly to and from St Helier. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Our room was beautiful and spotless with a modern TV (we brought a HDMI cable to plug in our laptop to watch our own Prime or Netflix films at night). There is free WiFi in the hotel. Breakfast was a feast of full cooked breakfast and also a continental choice every day. One of the things we thought was an extra special touch was the use of the dining room in the evening; guests can bring in their own food (fab Chinese takeaway minutes walk away opens till 10.30pm - handy after a long day walking and a few drinks in one of the local bars) and use the microwave and cutlery, plates etc provided and sit at a table to eat. There are a good few lovely places to eat in Gorey Village itself or a short walk up to Gorey Pier. Over all, we had a fabulous time and we will be back again and look forward to staying in Maison Gorey again.

I really enjoyed my stay with the Maison Gorey. When looking into my stay I wanted to see what the breakfast included and only saw that there were cereals and croissants. To my suprise there was a beautifully cooked breakfast available with plenty of toast and a hot drink. The staff were attentive and friendly which added to the stay greatly. The room I expected in the package was a single and again I was pleasantly surprised to find a twin room and the beds placed together to create a larger bed. The facilities in the room were clean. Well looked after and the fridge stocked well. The shower area was a good size and the shower itself was very good. The hotel is positioned only a short walk away from the centre of Gorey itself. But if you ever needed anything there is a Morrisons just down the road. There are a couple of eateries aswell, a pharmacy and other convenient local stores. All well within reach. The liberty bus company do an amazing job servicing Gorey and the surrounding hamlets and there are bus stops a short walk away from the Maison Gorey which made getting around very easy. The beach is only a short walk away with a cafe hut a short walk from the pathway. Overall I had a great trip and this was made very comfortable with my stay at the Maison Gorey.

Very nicely located hotel on the old main street through Gorey, now bypassed, so little traffic passing the hotel. Less than 5 mins walk from the bus stops for the service to/from St Helier. Clean and comfortable rooms and a good choice of food available at breakfast time.

A characterful hotel if a little tired looking in places - the carpets in particular! In contrast our bathroom with walk-in shower was obviously a recent arrival and in very good shape. Gorey itself is a one horse town compared to St Helier so if you want the quiet life it’s a good option, and if you hire a car the ever popular north coast villages are within easy reach.

Ideally situated only a short walking distance to a lovely beach and Gorey Port. Best if you hire a car for this hotel as there’s beautiful coves within 10-15 minutes Nice terrace on the roof which gets the sun in the afternoon- very relaxing

The room was newly decorated with new furniture. Very clean. Everything working as it should. Bathroom lovely with a great walk in shower and fluffy towels. Our room was over the front of the hotel and a bit noisy but we were ok with that because the room was so nice. Good choice at breakfast and great staff.

It was a very clean and quiet hotel, near to the bus stop so easy to get around from this hotel. It is a bed & breakfast hotel, the breakfast is good, plenty of choice. No bar. You have to find somewhere to eat in the evening.

Carpets need replacing,it also says it has a mini bar but it does not and the lounge could do with a revamp ( thats the negatives).The positives are the room was lovely breakfast was good and the location is great and jason on the desk was more than helpful,would definitely stay again .This was my second stay at this hotel.
