The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself could use some updating but they kept it clean and were working on fixing some things. The beach was awesome but the lounge chairs were a bit old. The hotel provided us with the name of a great ground transportation service, St. Lucia Airport Shuttle, Sam was an amazing driver! He was very knowledgeable about the island and very friendly. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment. Many talented musicians! Overall wonderful stay!
Service was great. Renoir was a rock star! He went over and above with his help and niceness. Danica (not sure how to spell), at the front desk was efficient and a breath of fresh air.
Unfortunately, I had a room (ground floor) where a lot of people walked by so sitting outside wasn’t as peaceful as I would like and the music was loud late in the evening.

Really enjoyed the trip but hard to ignore a few things…the hotel was overbooked so I was sent to a completely different hotel my first night. Was told I would have a room the next day by noon… it wasn’t until 5 pm the next day that I had a room. They upgraded us to all inclusive and the presidential suite which was great damage control, but still… I traveled 12 hours to a foreign country and had no room?! Maids took my bedsheets and didn’t have new ones until 7pm one night, hot/cold water didn’t work in shower and money was stolen out of a bag on the beach last day. My patience was tested here but I still had a great time in a beautiful location
My husband and I just returned from an 8 night stay and wanted to leave on day 2. The positive… the staff was wonderful and so helpful, we can’t say enough about the people. The beach was beautiful and is where we spent a majority of our time. Get up early to ensure you get an umbrella - it’s worth it! The negative….the resort was falling apart. We had water dripping from the ceiling (we were on the first floor), no hot water on night 2 and no cold water on night 8. We had to move rooms as did a few of the other guests we happened to meet. Some rooms are more updated than others. The food was absolutely horrible and they never changed the menu. We gave up on the all inclusive and went off the property for every meal. I would not recommend this place for anyone who feels like good food and quality wine are a key aspect of a good vacation.
UPSIDE:
-The staff were friendly and polite.
-The room was excellent. Zero complaints about the room.
-The location was great. Right on the beach, yet a short walk to Rodney Bay village. No need for a cab.
-Several good restaurants within walking distance.
-Pool was clean and the right temperature.
-Safe swimming area in the ocean/towels provided
-Fridge and hairdryer in the room (no microwave)
DOWNSIDE:
-Food was awful. Do not buy the all inclusive, instead walk off the property and eat in the safe and friendly neighborhood
-Karaoke at the pool during the day. Totally ruins the chill vibe. Evening was fine but during the day it was torturous.
-Pool bar. Very slow service, so pack your patience. No bottled beer, even for purchase which was disappointing.
Summary: Would I stay here again? Yes, but not with the all inclusive. Fun place if you are bringing a group.
WHAT WE LIKED: Terry and Elijah at the front desk were very nice and willing to accommodate! Mark, the maitre D at the single specialty restaurant, Chic, was very special. The small crab cake appetizer and sliced flank steak entree at Chic were tasty and cooked to order, and the ambience at Chic was upscale compared to the rest of the resort. The beach and ocean were nice, white sand, no rocks, clear and calm. The rooms all had spacious balconies.
WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE: There was only one specialty restaurant, Chic, open for dinner (closed on Wednesdays and Sundays). The menu was limited, some of the entrees were not available on certain evenings, and the wait staff would not let me order an appetizer and soup (because the soup was considered an appetizer, and the "rule" of the kitchen was only one appetizer, one entree and one dessert per person per meal, even though we paid an upcharge of $100 per person per day for the all-inclusive option, which we regretted doing a third of the way into our stay. The breakfast buffet was adequate but limited. The quality and variety of the food at the buffet was disappointing. Table service at buffet after being seated was spotty at times and virtually non-existent at other times. We were harrassed almost constantly on the beach by locals selling their wares, although we did like having the opportunity to buy fresh coconuts on the beach. The rundown property kept running out of Baileys, tequila, etc. Not a VIP experience.
Quiet, little resort that's very relaxing and has great views. Love that it's small and intimate unlike the other big resorts where it can get overly crowded.
