"The room was comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and featured a spacious bathroom, and a lovely view from the window. I stood there in peace, watching daylight break over the village. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and felt very safe—we slept deeply with the window open. Breakfast was both delicious and filling; I wish I could return just for another one! :) Staying in a historic house made the experience even more special, and I loved learning about its story."

"Great location in a building dating back to the 15th Century, but impeccably maintained. Rather steep curved castle stairs, but the manager was very helpful in carrying our luggage. Breakfast was excellent as was service all around. Sherry was waiting in a decanter in the room. When a taxi was delayed picking us up at the train station, the manager (owner?) drove down, himself. First rate service all the way around. Highly recommended."
