What a great stay during a horrible winter storm. The staff were so accommodating and kind during a horrible winter storm. They went above and beyond to meet my needs. Check in was odd. I felt like I was intruding. Immediately when I get in my room and sit on the bed, I smell the pillows. They smell like a sweaty person. Not wanting to cause a scene I call down and ask for a couple of extra pillows. I was told I could come get some. Ok, maybe I’ve been spoiled but stuff like that is usually brought to the room. The mattress was old and extremely uncomfortable. I showered and went to get some lotion out of the container on the wall and it was empty. These are just small things that make a big difference. Clean pillows, comfortable beds and a supply of lotions and soaps should be standard. Smell of marijuana was strong and drifted in and out of our room all night. Also, we got in late and there were no parking spaces due to the paving. Not at all impressed with this Hilton Garden Inn.
