The breakfast everyday is outstanding. Delicious and hot. The room was so clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. I stay here every year for a week when I come south for a family reunion.

It was a great hotel. It was super clean and the staff were great. They were very hospitable. I know its a new hotel but it smelled so clean throughout the hotel and they went above and beyond to keep the place disinfected and clean with the COVID-19 virus.

Nice place to stay while in town on business. There was a gym and a really good fast food place in the same lot, and was just about 10 minutes from several good spots in town. My only complaint was after 5 nights, no maid service to my room. I had to use some shopping bags for overflow trash. Overall woruld recommend

The room assigned to me did not have a lounge chair. The only seating other than the bed was the desk chair which was not very comfortable for television watching or relaxation.

Disappointed in Fairfield

Check in went ok. I was told a private party was going on in the hotel until 9:00 and they would put me up high at the other end. Didnt help when the people on both sides brought the party upstairs. The refrigerator squealed all night, hairs in every layer of sheets, and everywhere in the bathroom and the only protein at breakfast was this weird egg white frittata. The lady at the front desk was too busy putting on her third layer of makeup and looking in the mirror to check me out when she saw me standing there at the desk. Not a fan of the Kinston Fairfield Inn. Will stay in New Bern on my future trips.

I employee several folks that are service related jobs, so I understand the importance of having a friendly fave and personality when dealing with the public. That said, I never leave reviews, but felt it necessary today. I walked to my car this morning to put my luggage in the car and then returned to the hotel for check out. At this particular location, there are two sets of self opening doors. As I returned to the building, the first set opened, yet the second door did not. I did not see that I had to use my keycard to have the inner door open. As I’m looking into the hotel and before I could get my keycard located, the front desk clerk went into a shout rage at me about the fact I needed to use my keycard to re enter. The lobby has other paying customers there, along with the near by breakfast area. Everyone could hear her shouting at me. As I re entered, she continued her rant. One of the customers that was eating breakfast commented to me that “she chewed me out yesterday “. Again, I never leave reviews. This incident rose to the level to say something. Not sure what this lady needs to do to earn a living, but behind the counter at a Fairfield inn is not the place she needs to be.

Amazing Stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Kinston on May 9, 2025, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety, and the hotel's location was convenient for exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kinston!
