It was loud well after 9pm from guests and road noise. There was no way to make the room dark since there are windows high above the blinds. The maintenance on the property is lacking. The sheets were clean but stained, and there was even a dirty Band-Aid in our room. There was mold and rust in the bathroom. The elevator needs servicing; it and the front automatic entry door both sounded like dying animals. While pets are welcome, there is a sign that says no pets in the breakfast area. Yet someone had their dog in the breakfast area and was even feed feeding the dog breakfast food from the buffet. A male employee said nothing to the dog owner even after I made eye contact with him and suggested he do so.

Absolutely outstanding stay. The hilltop location is special and the view looking east in the morning is breathtaking and peaceful. The room was spotless and comfortable, and everything felt well cared for. Breakfast was amazing with great variety and quality and easily one of the highlights of the stay. Staff was welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic and comfortable place to stay.

I enjoyed my time here because I met my girlfriend from New Jersey. We met halfway, but when we got to the room, only the shower light would work. The rest of the lights in the bathroom didn’t work. It took several times to ask for it to be fixed before it actually was There was food or some material on the front glass of the fireplace. I had to take the top of the toilet off to allow the ball to come back up so the toilet wouldn’t keep running. The staff wasn’t very welcoming. Sometimes it took a while to get service at the front desk. Some of the staff actually lived there and their kids would hang out in the lobby in their pajamas. All in all three stars is probably more than what I should give.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past couple of years and it seems to me it has gone down hill. We checked in around 11:30 pm and Emily who was at the front desk was pleasant and professional. We were given room 323. I had never stayed in that room and didn’t know we had a handicap room. That wasn’t an issue until we got in the room. First it was at the end of the hall which for someone who would require this type of room should not have to go that far from the elevator or front desk but put that aside. The smell of weed was bad in the hall, it was across from the laundry room which doesn’t have a door (not that anyone was using it thank goodness) but bright light for sure. Again that wasn’t too bad since the light didn’t come into the room that much. Went to use the bathroom first, door and walls needed some serious paint, the toilet seat was worn and the paint was wearing off. So definitely didn’t “look clean” the shower had a built in seat so there was black mold under and at the attachment to the wall. Ok whatever, get over that go to take the blankets down and the bottom sheet has faded stains on it. I go to the front desk and ask for new sheets. Explained the issue again Emily very accommodating and asked it I wanted to switch rooms I say yes however , she stated the only other rooms available (3 of them) she felt would be much better due to the fact the were on the “pet floor” I say ok we will deal with it. She gets me new sheets and a new blanket wit

The room was outdated. The aux plugs did not work, the television screen was off center when turned on and unable to be adjusted. The sheets and blanket had stains. One of the pillows had a piece of hair on it. The breakfast eggs were dry and the bacon was microwavable. The lobby had a sticky floor and there were pieces of trash in the hallway of the second floor. The owner and his wife were pleasant. However, it was obvious that they either live in the hotel or spend a large amount of time there as she was feeding their child in a high chair in the lobby lounge. Just not up to my expectations. I left a day early.

Not well kept, room showed significant dirt and damage from guests with pets and sloppy attempts to cover it that makes it worse. Floor felt sticky. Asked for a room refresh and got only new towels; no straightening up. I'm disappointed because this is an ideal location for me, but won't be staying here again.

The sink in the bathroom was very slow in draining. And while it drained, black debris would float out of the drain. There was an empty k-cup in the coffee maker. None of the 3 ports to plug in my watch and tablet worked. The drawers on the one and only dresser were very hard to open. The staff was very polite and the breakfast was great. These things, in my opinion, are minor but...

Will stay at again

Mattress was uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. Bath towels were like sandpaper that were in the room, I went downstairs and got a fresh set and they were great. Breakfast was ho-hum compared to the Red Roof Inn at spots I stayed at. Everything else was great and will stay at again next year. Parking was tight, note that there is a upper lot with more spots (right next to the gas station).
