「Great location, minutes walk distance to UVA and several restaurants. Very nice hotel owner and her dog. Cozy room and comfortable king bed. Excellent homemade breakfast. We’ll come back! Strong recommend to others. 」

「The property and rooms were historic and charming. Our room was very private and spacious. Breakfasts were prepared with care and were delicious, with the same offerings each day. The proprietors were very helpful and kind.」

「Staff was pleasant but don’t plan to eat there. Seems very short-staffed & not prepared to host meals. The property is beautiful but hot water is warm only so attempting a bath on a chilly night wasn’t a positive experience. Hope the new owners are able to tighten things up & be able to offer what you would expect for an above-average price per night in that area.」

「Our favorite stay of our trip. The Rose Room was comfortable with a huge soaking tub and breakfasts were delicious」

「The decorations and location is fantastic」

「Pleasant staff. Delicious food. Quiet and restful. Enjoyed sitting out underneath the wood awning. Close to town.」

「Super friendly staff and they served my delicious complimentary pints even though their pub had closed earlier. I'll go back and highly recommend them!」

「This was the most amazing place we ever stayed where we were treated as family members The house the setting and most of all the hospitality was unforgettable」

「Staying here can only be described as a dream come true—it feels straight out of a storybook. The host is exceptionally warm, thoughtful, and tender-hearted. Our three-day, two-night stay left our hearts full and completely rejuvenated.」

「This was one of the best stays we have ever had. A truly phenomenal place.」

「Very steep stairs to the guest rooms」

「Art is a wonderful host. It was a great Inn and we will go again 」

「We changed from two-person to family (+ two kids) in the last moment. They managed to provide reasonable arrangement. The location is excellent, very close to the main street with many good restaurants. Both the free breakfast and pre-dinner wine-and-cheese are better than what we expected from a local non-chain hotel.」

「Carolyn and Bob were excellent hosts. Their home is wonderful.」

「Marty was a wonderful host. The Inn could use a few repairs but our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Good location in downtown Orange, VA. 」

「This Inn is extremely run-down and poorly maintained. We did not actually check in when we saw the accommmodations. Avoid.」
