「Older motel, reminds me of places we stayed when I was a kid on family vacation. The property was not in the best repair (door chain lock was broken, as was the bathroom lock) Check in clerk could have been a robot. Talked to the manager in the morning to extend my stay, she was super nice and helpful. Room was not super clean, but not filthy. Bed was comfortable, ac blew cold. Very quiet, obviously built in another era. Breakfast is a voucher for breakfast at a Cafe on the premises, really...

「The Hampton Inn has always been a chain that I have found more than satisfactory. I have only stayed with them a handful of times, across several states/locations, but have always encountered consistent quality. The Palestine, TX location was a great representation of that expectation.
