The staff and service here are excellent, especially Spiros who looked after us on the Rooftop bar. Beautiful views and great cocktails. A vintage hotel, our room was spotless and comfortable though basic. The location cannot be beaten. We stayed two nights, walking around the old town. The breakfast is sadly lacking in quality but was sufficient for our short stay. I would stay here again.

The location was unbeatable…at the end of Liston, facing a park, the old fort, the Ionian Sea and the Albanian mountains beyond. Simply breathtaking!

A good location on the edge of town. Parking is a real problem, although there is a paid for carpark within walking distance. Breakfast was great and there was a good varirty to choose from. Brakfast went from 7.30- 10.30 am so was never too busy.

The hotel is is in a great spot with a great view of the old fortress. The rooms are a little dated and could probably use a little updating but they were very clean and comfortable. The location was great with everything very easy to walk to. We had a car and we’re able to find parking but we were there in late March, I am sure it would be more difficult in the summer.

Fantastic Hotel with stunning views!
Fantastic, authentically Greek hotel! Yes, it could do with some updating in areas but we absolutely loved its charm. We were on the 5th floor at the front and the views were stunning. Staff were very helpful and professional. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range from continental, fruit, pastries to cooked items. Loved every minute, even the ancient lift! Will definitely return!

Lovely hotel and great location
Everything was so clean - especially the bathroom which often lets a hotel down. Service was friendly and very helpful. Arriving early in the morning, our room was made available at 12.30! Fruit salad at breakfast could have been a little better…

If you go with your mind set to the fact that this is a historic hotel and not a modern one than you are good. Wifi is very slow. Staff was super friendly.

Great location- friendly staff except on rooftop
Lovely little hotel on the edge of the old town. I had a corner room with fabulous views. Basic accommodation and a bit tired. But cheap and cheerful. Not real complaints. Front desk staff and concierge were super helpful and friendly. The only real negative was the rooftop- quite surly and unfriendly staff- all the best tables were reserved for apparently non-hotel guests and so I was forced to have a drink at the back far away from any decent view. I appreciate it’s a popular venue, but it was not good hospitality. I was clearly a hotel guest but there was little consideration for my enjoyment of the rooftop area.

We have been staying at The Cavalieri for many years whilst in Corfu Town. It is situated at an excellent spot overlooking the Old Fortress and a few minutes' walk from the old town and Liston. The place is possessed of an old charm that my partner and I like. The only thing is I wish they, as a 4-star establishment, invested a bit more in a) a stronger wi-fi as many people do business even when on hols, and b) some nicer complimentary toiletries.

Great location & staff friendliness but dated room
The staff were great! The hotel was very beautiful on the outside and charming on the inside. The room I received was pretty dated/worn and didn’t represent what I viewed in the photos. I’d recommend the hotel for location for sure, the staff for sure as well, and I’m sure there are better rooms and not so great rooms as was mine (on the first floor).

Lovely hotel in old town. Easy to access by public transport or on foot (25 minute walk from airport). Great base to explore by public transport. Great rooftop bar/taverna with stunning views

The location of the hotel is perfect. I can't complain about the staff and the cleanliness either. It bothered me a little that the walls are very thin. But all in all i would recommend the Hotel.

Stayed here for one night only. An older, not refurbished hotel and room. A bed that was not very comfortable and at check-in there was only one bath towel for two people. We asked for an extra towel at the reception, but this was never provided. A charming roof terrace with a nice view. We didn't eat in the restaurant just enjoyed a single drink there. A hotel with possible potential, but it needs renovation and a higher level of service.

A great hotel. The roof terrace was fabulous with great food, drinks and views. The decor in the hotel was a little dated ( old fashioned Greece) but very clean and tidy. The staff were as good as any five star hotel anywhere in the world in terms of friendliness and the desire to help.

The hotel customer service was horrible and rude. Instead of 7 beds ordered between 2 rooms, we received 4 beds. One of the rooms with 3 beds didn’t have working AC so they put us in a room with 2 twins and gave us a mattress pad as a third bed. When we said that is unacceptable, we were told there are no other options. 6 people (not couples) on 4 beds and of course no one slept. The owner of the hotel said we’re we’re lying that the hostess was rude and that it cannot be true. In addition, our checkout time clearly says noon on my Expedia booking however the hotel said we have to check out by 11am and they don’t care what Expedia told us. Do not recommend!

Dear Mrs Darya,We understand your disappointment for our services, but the truth is somewhere in the middle.Your reservation was for one family room and one three-bedded room for 7 people in the total.Accidentially earlier that day, apeart a problem with the A/C unit in the family room which was unpredictable. The hotel was full and we had no choices but only to put 2 funs in the room. Upon your arrival we mentioned this problem and the person of the hotel reception asked for apologise and in co-operation with you to see how we can resolve the problem. Unfortunately the hostess hwo was with you, got involved and attacked to the person behind the reception saying laud that "we always have problems with the greek hotels" and when he tried to responce to a coming call, she knocked hard her hand on the desk of the reception acuising him as rude!!! This person is not rude, he is very polite and proffecional. After that you did not want to stay in this family room without A/C. We asked you to move to a twin room and put an extra bed for the third person which you fund it unaccepable.Please note, family rooms are for families, futher, mother and 2 kids. Double bed is for the parents. We didn't know you are not family. However we promissed to refund the 30% of the total amount which you can see in your cc account. EXPEDIA is aware of the refund..We ask again for apologise for the unforseen problem and I am sure we all could be more collaborated without the involvment of the hostess who tried to show you how much cares her clients!!!!!!Your sincerelyElias Capodistrias-Cavalieri Hotel Manager

Fantastic location with view of the harbour and the old fort. Only complaint is that the air conditioning is a little anemic. But it is a wonderful small boutique hotel on the edge of the old town. The view from the roof top restaurant is fantastic. The included breakfast was very good.

I’m sorry but a hotel that has such poor internet (download 5, upload 0.2) cannot be recommended. Cannot do anything on the web if you go to the Cavalieri. On top of this the hotel is very old and has very thick walls so cellular service is impossible in the hotel. To make a simple FaceTime call needed to go outside the hotel. Fix your wifi internet or you will have angry customers. I’m not complaining about your cheap frozen reheated croissants or broken coffee machine, no hot chocolate etc. Fix the wifi!

Very good location. Basic breakfast, reheated frozen croissants and coffee machine broken. Door knobs right next to frame, easy to hurt your fingers. It’s a very old hotel, so no cell reception at all in the hotel, and unfortunately the internet wifi was pretty much unusable (down 1.25, up 0.43). Unacceptable. They need to update their wifi.

I visited the Cvalieri hotel with a group of American students for a study abroad I was leading. It was really perfect for our needs. The staff was so friendly, the buffet breakfast was nice. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.
