"The cleaniest resort i have seen, to say it's so busy it's spotless. The location is lovely right on the beach and the water park is so much fun for the children. Service is amazing and they really make you smile especially at breakfast. The food caters for all and all the restaurants are amazing! The only thing i would say is upon arrival nothing is really explained to you about how to book the restaurants where anything is, that you only get 3 restaurant booking in a week, the reception staff need more information on how to help clients that haven't been there before. Great stay and would highly recommend"

"We stayed one week and had a pleasurable holiday. Food was fantastic and fresh. Big choice of fresh fruit and salads. Restaurant staff were very attentive and nice. One surprise was that there was absence of fresh orange juice, considering how many oranges are grown in Greece. Staff were polite, friendly and always smiling. Location of the Hotel was good, close to the airport and Heraklion City and there were plenty of small shops and restaurants nearby. Bedlinen and towels were clean but we did find that the room floor was not always cleaned, noticing same bits on the floor 3 days in the row. There are no ironing facilities in the Hotel and iron is not available if you ask for it which was a bit of a let down since many travellers would like to iron their clean dresses, shirts etc. taken out from the suitcases, without having to pay for it. Air conditioning was working well and was very quiet although we did not use it much as it was not that hot at night time for us. There was a small problem with water regulation in the shower, it was difficult to get it right and it was either too hot or little too cold. We also found that in the evening, whilst sitting outside, waiters would only serve certain tables and keep going back to them, whilst never stopping at others. Beach was windy at the time when we went and comparing with some other resorts we've been to, it was not being combed/ cleaned at all. Overall it was a lovely hotel and we enjoyed it."

"Clean room, very friendly staff, airport and port shuttles were very useful, and the breakfast buffet was perfect. I would stay here again! Only thing I didnt like is the showering situation, you had to get into a whirlpool hot tub to shower using a handheld shower head that you had to prop up. It would flood the bathroom eachtime. Suggesting getting rid of thr tub and installing a proper shower its its place for convenience and a less hassle and dangerous experience for showering."

"Wonderful experience. Only thoughts … more carts to shuttle people around. Larger drinking classes in the room. Greek restaurant a little disappointing. And we missed hearing Greek music."

"We stayed in an Executive room for five nights. 1. We weren't told that the room is cleaned and tidied only every other day. Things like that should be mentioned in advance. 2. There was a coffee machine in the room. We ran out of coffee capsules after a day and a half. When I asked why the coffee supplies hadn't been replenished, I was told that this had to be done through room service (for a fee!)"

"The place was absolutely stunning, indeed felt like being in castle. It was close by to the main city center but those with mobility issues should be warned that it is very hilly. The whole staff went above and beyond, helped us switch rooms for a better view and was very helpful and kind. An example is the bellhop, Lucian. The pool was great, very clean with a great view. Additionally, there were a multitude of options to choose from at breakfast, with a great open seating space."

"The staff was accommodating if you didn’t speak their language, they had interpreted for you. The rooms were very clean. The spa was excellent. I have nothing to compare with yet. I had a good time I would visit again."
