「AVOID – I paid for a room that was never provided I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this property. I booked and paid for a two-night stay through Hotels.com for 9–11 September. I had a confirmed reservation, but when I arrived at the property to check in, the housekeeper told me that they were fully booked, there was no room available for me, and they had no record of my reservation in their system. I therefore had no accommodation despite having already paid for my stay and had...

「The main issue with the property was that the basement room smelled SO strongly of mildew and the stairs to get down there felt so steep and unsafe that one couple in our group ended up booking a hotel to accommodate themselves. This was truly more like a converted crawl space than a bedroom. In addition, the sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable, even for a sofa bed. It has 2 bathrooms and three toilets. It was very secure, with sensor lights at the front door. It is very close to the bus stop, short walk to West Finchley Underground. And there is a nearby laneway up to Finchley shops, with lots of small shops and a SuperTesco. We were contacted a couple of times to ensure...

「The host goes above and beyond to create a really comfortable environment for travelers. So much attention to detail to make it a relaxing stay. Having things like tea, coffee, breakfast, snacks available when traveling as a family of 6 was beyond helpful! It gave us space to laugh, sort our luggage and rest before we flew out from Heathrow the next day. I also left my kindle behind, the team found it quickly and very kindly posted it to my UK address. I’m so grateful!! Thank you!! Absolutely...

「Hotels.com messed up. Was never allowed to check in because the apartment owner demanded to be paid directly and not by the Hotels.com and that is after paying hotels.com upfront. I just want my money refunded. Period. 」
