"Where do i begin? I grew up in Rapid City and went to Canyon Lake park frequently as a child. Now after moving away, and having not being able to stay with family, we needed a new place to gather. What an amazing facility the resort is! They have everything you need for a largebor small gathering. The availability of the lodge, or cabins was perfect for a reunion/95th birthday party for 40 people! I cannot recommend Canyon Lake resort enough!"

"Very accommodating. Upgraded our room for free. Responded quickly. A safe place to stay. Very beautiful grounds. Dog bags for puppy. Very quiet and peaceful. Balcony connected to room, nice touch. Lots of windows. Free hulu. Room contained all kitchen amenities: big fridge, microwave, electric stove, sink. Very nice people. Food & drinksThey suggested local places to eat! Very highly rated places, we stopped at one called The Pantry. "

"We attended a wedding on this property and we had higher expectations for the hotel considering the high price. The area is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The price is exorbitant considering the condition of the hotel and the tv's have limited channels and were NOT High Definition, just like the old days. The food in the dining room was not worth the price tag. "
