"The apartment is around 3KM from Sestriere so if you want to be in the bars for Apres Ski etc maybe not a great choice of location, however i had a car and chose to Ski in Montgenevre instead as better for beginners and its only 25 mins drive. There are restaurants where the apartment is located but you need to book especially in busy periods. The apartment is a bit dated and could do with modernising but its clean, very warm and fine for a week. "

"The night I arrived the entry codes worked however, there was someone else in my assigned room. It was late in the evening, and I called the hotel support. Luckily, [and by chance] they were able to get me into another room [which was not what I had reserved]. The light in the bathroom did not work. Maintenance did not come until the third day to fix it. The cleaning staff was extremely kind and helpful because there was no one else there to help. "It was so hot in the apartment it was almost impossible to sleep, they have locked the air con at 22c which didn’t filter to all the rooms so was not actually that temp, bird mess all over the outdoor furniture, poor communication, stains on sofa pillows, whole place looked really worn out and tired, flooring was very rough, warm water from the shower took literally 8 mins to even start to get warm. Cracked wine glasses in cupboard, one of the parasols was broken and WiFi was poor, oh and hidden...
