Just a dated property, nothing bad and only stayed one night on our way to Estes Park. Loved the little town and rented a boat for couple hours and that was plenty for a cool September morning.

We were very disappointed with this stay. Overall the place was run down and not clean. It said no smoking but our room had obviously been a smoking room at some point. The price was definitely high for the overall experience.

A little outdated and weird that lobby is only staffed from 2-9 pm. No breakfast is also not normal for hotels we go to.

It was easy to get into and out from the hotel. The hotel itself was somewhat outdated, however it served us out of convenience. We give the property an overall 3.0.

We came at the end of Labor Day weekend for a 1 night stay. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs and the room was clean and adequate with a very comfortable bed. The Lodge is centrally located on the main road of Grand Lake. It’s really more like a motel than a lodge. Perhaps because of the fact that it was the end of a holiday weekend, the room was not ready at checkin time and there was NO lighting outside the room (stairs included) at night. We used our phone flashlight to see! Maybe the town is a dark skies community? But there should be at least footlights for safety. Overall, we would stay here again if we needed a basic room at a decent price.

Everything was perfect with the room - clean, comfortable. Four stars because the hot tub was cold and that was the one reason i chose this place. Other than that, everything was great!

Room 20, furthest from the office, WiFi kept cutting in and out. Best reception was with either the door or window open. Only one end table.

Upon arrival the lodge looked tired but we were excited and it looked clean. First night a breaker tripped twice. We made sure not to plug and run the refrigerator and microwave at same time and next morning ran just coffee maker. Also the toilet was sluggish. We out and about all day the second morning the toilet stopped up. Went to desk no one just a number posted to call. I called and texted a message. My husband came in he called. After an hour we went to near by hardware store and bought a plugger and worked on it ourselves. No I am sorry nothing. I like to give good reviews especially when the service is good. But I’m afraid this was not the case.

Check in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly. Its a very basic room but has everything you need. Little dated. The room was super hot when we got there and even with the ac on and opened window when it cooled down it stayed warm all night. Good walking location to shops and restaurants. Bonus for being dog friendly.
