「We heard great reviews for this hotel from friends in Manado, so we booked a room for our stay. I’m giving five stars because I believe my friends. However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldn’t use our reservation. I wrote to Expedia and the hotel to cancel the reservation. Expedia said they couldn’t refund the money because they needed to first receive the consent of the hotel and the hotel didn’t respond the hotel...

「 Had a wonderful stay at Grand Whiz Mega Mas Manado. The hotel is very clean and conveniently located right next to the shopping center. The staff, especially Ms. Nadia at the reception, were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing with authentic Indonesian flavors (not westernized like most hotels) — really delicious! Also, it’s close to many great food spots in Manado center. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back again! 」

「The villa we booked was not available when we arrived. I had booked and paid months earlier and was extremely upset. The gave us a new duplex which smelt of cement and the shower flooded. The TV was not connected. We got the villa the next day and the TV channels were all Chinese channels. The floor was mopped with a dirty mop as you could see the marks on the bathroom floor. The door to the balcony would not lock and the front door took a long time to open as it was stuck. The restaurant...

「Great view of sea and city from my 10th floor room. Great sea view and sunset from the corridors and the 3rd floor pool/ breakfast restaurant too. Room not big but comfy enough and meets all basic needs. Nice "breakfast with a view". Easy to get taxis. Near city center and the port (5mn by taxi). There's a bad smell from the bathroom plumbing most of the time though. Wifi can be quite slow.」

「Super mooi verblijf. Lekker zwembad en goed eten. Ook de gym was goed! Puntje voor verbetering: we kregen geen gratis water bij lunch en diner. Het was ook niet de bedoeling dat we dat pakte want dat hoorde bij het buffet en niet bij a la cart.」

「早餐很豐富，但是有些團客的客人會大聲喧嘩、浪費食物，建議八點過後再去享受早餐，才不會遇到他們。 飯店離海邊走路約15分鐘，附近有超市，採購用品很方便。 我住三樓的時候晚上很安靜，但無景觀。換到九樓，窗外景觀好，可是晚上會聽到窗外的車聲，隔壁說話聲音很大，一直到半夜一點多才停止。」
