"Love this place - we wish we had stayed here 2 nights instead of just 1. We got there late so were not able to enjoy the spa. Love the comfy sitting area in each room. The restaurant was fabulous - great dinner and service even though we got there close to closing time. View was nice. Really enjoyed this hotel! Highly recommend!!"

"Unfortunately when we stayed there were floods in the local town and the older folks evacuated to the hotel. No fault of the hotel of course and they did let us cut short our stay with no issues. The decor is dated but with improvements it could be a great place. "

"Great hotel, colorful with a nice decoration and a garden right on the lake. A great place to stop for a night ot two if you are on your way to/from Oslo and you want a peacful place. The room is cozy and simple, good value for what we paid. There is also a glamping option in the hotel which looked super nice. We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it. Really sorry we could not stay more than one night cause this was a true relaxation. Recommended!"
