A lot of the area leading to Roosevelt Lake was full of tourist trap type places like the Goldfield Ghost Town and Tortilla Flats. If you can pass on that the land is really beautiful. We camped on the lake in early December and had the whole place to ourselves since most locals would say that 60 degrees at night is too cold. Bring your own campfire wood.

Very cute place! It looks like it needs a little bit of a facelift but I can't really complain. The room smelled really nice! We saw a groundsman going around cleaning trash and the courtyard. He was very nice! We will definitely come back
