"Beware if you are a non smoker. Lovely lunch in the conservatory (what they call a pagoda) a bright and sunny room with lovely sea views but it was fully enclosed with no opening windows only doors which were closed from the wind and the staff use the lounge area in it when they have a break and smoke there. With no ventilation and several smokers sat around the room soon filled with smoke, unpleasant whilst we were eating. We moved into the bar but the doors from the pagoda had been wedged open so the bar was smoky too. The smell of stale smoke was still in the reception and bar area the next morning, we did not venture into the pagoda again. Apparently they open it up in the summer but would still be smoky even then. Such a shame as plenty of tables and chairs outside that smokers could use, it was just too cold for us to eat lunch outside. We do accept that people smoke. Otherwise a beautiful hotel, the views from the bedrooms were lovely and well appointed with tea making facilities except milk which when we asked for some milk we were charged EUR2.50 for. No heating in the bathroom so the towels stayed wet but a lovely bathroom but with shower only, no bath. Food was good but menu a bit limited if you don't eat oysters and does not change at all and same menu lunch time and evening. Very limited street parking but apparently they do have a car park but a fair walk away we were told when we asked. First impression was brilliant but overall could improve."

"Excellent staff, always friendly & helpful. Outstanding location one block from historical centre. Lovely spacious room, modern bathroom. The only negative: parking is not €10/day. The parkade next to the hotel allows 15 min free. But a full day is €16.50 = €33 for 2 days. Luckily street parking up a hill as suggested by reception. . "Cet établissement, plutôt contemporain, offre une prestation d’hébergement correcte. J’ai eu recours compte tenu de l’heure tardive de mon arrivée à l’automate, qui est pratique a utiliser. Les chambres sont confortables, on regrettera cependant, l’absence de plateau de courtoisie."

"We were welcomed by reception staff, all information was explained in detail (en français). The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable and as described. We had a ground floor apartment with a terrace screened off from the parking area. The proximity to the beach was wonderful, again as advertised. "

"Pool was freezing so couldn't get in. Sea view and balcony was lovely. Although a little dog from next door came under the separation divide, i didnt mind but others may."

"Parking is off site, free and 5 min walk away. Sea view suite was clean, bed comfortable, fluffy towels, outdoor jacuzzi was good but the cover didn't fit, carpet was tired and need of replacement. Spa, be prepared both men and women are required to wear swimming caps! Spa is not a 5 star, tired, rusty in places, sauna was ok but not very hot. Restaurant staff, dinner and cocktails were excellent."

"The resort is in an ideal position right next to a lovely bay with a great sandy beach over the small headland. The port area is great to wander around. So location wise its great. It is a pv holidays place though so your holiday has been designed by accountant trying to save 50 cents here and a euro there but if you are prepared to put up with the corporate penny pinching then its great. "
