But when our group of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) showed up, they were told they get 1 room with 1 bed. Finally Expedia just ghosted me. Never did they offer any other accommodation or my money back. And once disconnected, even though they knew definitively I could not stay there, it was though my problem vanished, and they made no further effort to compensate me in any way.
