"Facility is basic, and we encountered a power outage from late afternoon to about 9 pm in the evening. Without power, water was also not available. With very limited English speaking skills, the staff were very nice and kind and tried their best to help 👍 The breakfast was also very simple. With the price we paid, a much higher quality of staying was expected."

"Beautiful new hotel in Bakuriani. Clean large rooms, friendly and helpful staff (excellent English), easy location walkable to many restaurants and shops for snacks if needed. "STAY AWAY... It is just a house run by a women. They have no services what so ever. They don't even clean your villa. I had to request so many times to have my villa cleaned and they sent someone who did a very basic job without putting any toiliteries or towels. Linens were never changed and I stayed there for 5 nights. By the way, staff is also very grumpy. my advise is that choose a different property if you want your holiday to be enjoyable."

View of a staircase inside of the Stalin Museum in Gori, Georgia. Gori is a relatively small town located about 80 kilometers from Tbilisi. Joseph Stalin (his last name is a play on the Russian word for "steel" - his real last name was the Georgian surname of Jugashvili) was born and raised in Gori, and this museum houses both the small boarding house he was born in, and his train car. It's certainly worth a visit if you're in Georgia. Price is 10 GEL for a ticket - and they have english speaking tour guides available. I'll let you make up your own mind about the politics of the place, but I will say that the tour had some laugh out loud understatements like: "Stalin and the Soviet mades some mistakes, such as the forced collectivization of agriculture in Ukraine." I would bet Germans would probably be the most interested - if you've ever been to Germany you'd understand what I mean.

"The hotel is shown on the map on Expedia as being located just below the Fortress in one of the few remaining historic areas of the city, very close to Stalin Museum, but it is actually located in front of the train station, across the river, 30 minutes away from the museum. And there is absolutely nothing to do or see in that area. The bathroom had a terrible and persistent stench as if vapors were coming up from sewer. finally, the blanket covering the bed was so narrow that any movement exposes you to the mattress pad."
