The Pathmaker Hotel

"Enjoyed our stay at The Pathmaker. The front desk staff who check us in (I think her name was Jill) was very helpful and made sure we had a quiet, clean room for our four-night stay. The hotel is in walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Unless we were going to Acadia, we left our car at the hotel and walked through town. The restaurant was excellent, too."
Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

"Perfect location. Upscale hotel with all the amenities. Free parking. It is on the main road in Bar Harbor. You can do dining and shopping just outside the hotel. Very close to Acadia National Park. Very close to the harbor with so many activities - cruises, whale watching etc. Breakfast is great. Staff was very friendly and was always available. Will go back to the same hotel next time we visit Bar Harbor."

"Excellent! Solo traveller last minute booking. Quaint, clean, location is close to all shops and restaurants so you can walk and not have to fight for a parking spot. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb! They actually cook you breakfast instead of some cellophane wrapped muffins and fruit. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem!"

"This accommodation is in a very quiet position and check in is via text, no one was there when we arrived but a contact number was provided if we needed it. The room was old fashioned but clean. The highlight was definitely the breakfast which wasn't even mentioned when I booked. There were homemade muffins, scones and an array of other food and coffee/juice/yoghurt. Enjoyed our stay and would return."
