"I always stay here when in the area. Came again this past weekend for overnight getaway. The check-in guy was very polite, friendly, professional and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, modern, very clean and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub are always clean and perfect temperatures. Also love the on-site bar with great food, great friendly service, and always meet nice people when here. The pool tables and dart boards are nice, could use a few new pool sticks, but always nice and don’t have to leave the property just to hang for the night. Will be back again for sure. "

"In operation since 1771, amazing service, superb prices in the off season, great amenities on property and nearby. Particularly recommend Annie’s Restaurant for breakfast, 1 mile away? We had two rooms for two nights to visit nearby Old Sturbridge Village - less than 10 minutes away - and were upgraded from Motel rooms to main property rooms. Staff is amazing. Dining room is moderately priced at ~ $22/plate. Desserts were $8 to $10. Highly Recommend!"

"Don’t stay here. I repeat. Do not stay here. We walked in to a vacant lobby. Our room was across from the pool, which was still and dirty. I asked for another room, on the second floor. The woman at the front desk accommodated us, as there was no one there. We lugged our stuff to the second floor, which ended up being on the farthest end of the building. It gave us a much better look at the property. Our room had no heat and had a perfect view of the dock that was underwater. We packed our things and booked another hotel in the area. The woman at the front desk understood and was nothing but kind. This place has completely given up and should shut its doors. There was one other person in the hotel, who looked like he may have been “maintenance.” It seemed as though he lived there and when we walked by his room, he came out and was on his phone, looking like he was taking pictures. I can not emphasize how bizarre this whole experience is. I was in a rush and didn’t read the reviews. Don’t make my mistake. "

"This Property is Tired. I decided to stay here since I flew into Bradley International and most of my business was between Sturbridge and Auburn. I usually stay closer to Worcester. I promise I’m not a hotel snob especially when traveling alone. Staff was nice enough for what they had to work with. They were pleasant and helpful. The hotel just reads old and not maintained. As I said, tired. Not its fault. The room was clean but again, felt old right down to the white towels that were old, worn and gray. Shower wasn’t draining and I was wading by the time I was done. I didn’t hate it but I don’t think that’s the bar we are trying to hit. At least it was convenient. "
