"The overall look and history of The Stanley Hotel is delightful; the location unbeatable. I can look past the current construction, the torn drapes, peeling paint, and empty conditioner dispenser, but the lack of drawers in the room and storage in the bathroom means you have to put your clothes and toiletry bag on the floor. The guide for the historical tour was perfect, most of the restaurant and bar staff attentive. The registration staff were bored and lackluster. But the worst was there is...

"Location was great, close to downtown and all things in Estes Park. And only a few miles from Rocky Mountain Nat’l Park entrances, which is why we stayed there. Staff was friendly, pool and hot tub were clean, and breakfast was okay. Same food each day - continental style - so nothing to brag about but not bad either. Fun treats like afternoon popcorn and fixin’s for s’mores was a bonus."
