Good location, not a fabulous stay
The property is really quite rundown and not particularly clean. The beds and bedding were uncomfortable, and the fan was very loud, which made for a poor night's sleep. Good location was the only plus. Would not stay here again.

Sorry that your expectations were not met. It would have been helpful to have provided the room that you stayed in and spoke to the managers on sight so that something could be done about some of your issues. Instead of providing negative comments about a small budget motel on line says more about you.

We had a pleasant stay here for 1 night as we attended a wedding just a 2 min drive away. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The elevated back patio allowed a nice breeze through the room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very run down and felt dirty. It is in need of major renos. Spiders and bugs in the bathroom. Shower head didnt stay on the holder, however was nice hot water. Pool was dirty and not inviting. It was close to Australia Zoo which is the only draw card. Bed was comfortable and sheets and towels felt clean. We will definitely book somewhere else if we ever come back to Beerwah.

We have forwarded your feedback to the owner. This is a budget motel. We did tell you that we were in the process of servicing the pool when you arrived, but you did choose to use the pool. What a shame that you did not mention this on check out and felt that you had to put this on line.

The property was very close to Australia Zoo and Parrots of Paradise. Would like to have a net curtains for our privacy during the day time and a bit more lighting in the room.

Everything is out of date, too old, smells old, couldn’t sleep well too stuffy, money needs to be put in to make it looks nicer, please do leave milk for coffee .

I liked that it was close to the mountains, The Motel could do with some TLC. Some of it needed repairs and was dirty. The owners were friendly, but I wouldn't stay there again.

My room at this motel was booked and paid for a fortnight before . We arrived at 5.30pm in the afternoon and my husband collected the key and a carton of milk from the reception office. When we arrived at room 7, we were shocked to see that the room was not ready. It had not been cleaned since the previous occupiers with unmade beds and dirty dishes etc. Absolutely disgusted, and would never go through Wotif again

Yes we were at fault unfortunately the manager did not put yhre room on the house keeping list.....unfortunately we cant be perfect all the time the guest was offered a full refund..the room was cleaned to our high standard ..we apologise for the wait to get into your room Tony

Handy location for Australia Zoo. Friendly owners. Easy to find. Free parking. However the place needs a really good clean and revamp. There were stains on the carpet in our room, a couple of dead cockroaches in the wardrobe and the room smelled very stale. I think this place only survives because of its proximity to Aussie Zoo and Glass House Mountains.

Just a note, this is a BUDGET motel and we are in Queensland so we have quite few creepy crawlies. Actually the main bulk of people who do stay with us don't go to the Zoo!

Old Motel close to Australia Zoo
Room was a good size, bed is comfortable. Furniture is very old and needs updating. NoToiletries in bathroom or washing up liquid to clean crockery or cutlery in room. Lovely to have a back verandah to sit out on.

Clean rooms (as clean as very outdated old carpets and toilets can get), quiet nights sleep and friendly check-in. The rooms (we had two) both smelled strongly of urine mixed with cleaning products. Only toiletries offered were soap. Very dated decor and old furniture.

It’s a old motel .. but beds are very comfortable.. veranda out the back to sit have a drink and relax we had two rooms booked side by side and had a great time .. there for two nights .. up for a wedding Owner couldn’t do enough for us even offered if we left our car at the wedding venue he would drive my hubby up the next morning to pick it up We will definitely go back ... rooms very quite didn’t hear any road noise

My booking had been cancelled by the hotel and I was not notified. I called Wotif the day before to make sure everything was ok and they said it was fine! Also saw rat/mouse poo everywhere in office when I was there trying to sort out the issue. Glad in the end that I didnt have to stay there. Will not be booking with these guys ever again!
