"I can’t begin to describe how perfect our stay was. Truly the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. The hospitality is unmatched, from being picked up by the owner, Nicholas, at the port to our toiletries being perfectly organized on a tray when we came back to our room after a long day out. "The island is beautiful and wonderful if you like walking. There is access right out of the back of the house onto Trail 1 and then onto 10 and 4 The pretty town is a five minute walk or a very short drive The locals are lovely and welcoming. The welcome at the property is warm and helpful and the apartment is very comfortable with good beds, sheets, showers and of course, your own pool. Highly recommend a visit to Andros and a stay at this lovely apartment "

"The Diogenes is placed right at the harbour giving you easy access from the ferries and easy access to Ermoupoli itself. The room was clean and with a very nice bed. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could expect. The cafe offered coffees and drinks with a smile and help in practising the Greek language. I will definitely be back and next time for more than one night."

As a family, we've stayed in many hotels over the years, and Armlia Hotel genuinely stands out as one of the very best. Every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with stylish, immaculately clean rooms that are both comfortable and relaxing. The location is perfect—just a short stroll from the beach and within easy reach of everything we wanted to explore, while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant was another highlight. Breakfast was excellent, and every meal we had was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is exceptional. What really makes this hotel special, though, is the people. Every member of staff we met was genuinely friendly, professional. It's rare to find a hotel where everything just works so well, but Armlia Hotel has managed it. If you're visiting Syros, do yourself a favour and stay here.
