A great hotel!

A great hotel! Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent facilities including rooftop pool and gym. Breakfast was very varied and plenty of it! It was great location for us just 4 minutes from the beach and some decent walks along the sea. Grab cabs were frequent and regular for the trips into George Town old district and very reasonable! I would stay there again and recommend it!

Good Overall

The best part of the hotel is their lobby. The room was peaceful and quiet but the bathroom water flooded the bathroom when the water was let out. Their lobby and reception staff were extremely helpful and kind.

The check in was very slow. The parking is a hassle, have to go to the front desk the validate the touch and go card everytime before going out. The worst experience is with the towels provided in the hotel, they were mostly yellowish (was white towel before) and a few even go a strip of blood stain on it. The facility is very nice, the room is nice and the bed is comfortable. I hope they make the improvement the the towel and parking and much much faster check in process. Thanks

The hotel is nice. But not as comfortable as what the rating for this hotel. The parking said it was free. But we still end up paying additional charges on our own card. Which is very annoying. The parking staff need to learn how to speak English. Because this hotel is mainly cater tourists. English speaking would be helpful.

Jazz Hotel Penang is new and nicely located by the sea side. However, the quality and service of the staff need to be urgently upgraded. The counter staff (an Indian lady named Nitriya) showed an cold face and unwelcoming attitude in handling the checking in. My credit card was charged without a word of informing me though I am standing right in front of the counter. The cafe served cold parties, fruits that precut and stored in cooler. Coffee machine was out of order, ran out of bean without restored. The staff in uniform (a man and a lady) played around at the counter, blocking the walk path. I have to wait until they stopped chasing each other in order to go to the washroom.

Good location across the street from mall with large food court, pharmacy, shops, etc. Also easy walking to waterfront and Straits Quay marina, food and shops. The hotel offered a very good breakfast buffet and made to order omelets and other offerings.

Room key didnt work, cleaner let me in. Rather than send me a new key up, i had to go down. No juice in bar, could if got from another bar or restaurant. Card reader in bar not working had to send porter to room to pay. Pool bar unattended. Room service pizza terrible and cant put on room charge and again card reader issues.

9日ほど滞在しましたが、清潔で概ね良好なホテルと感じました。 チェックイン時にTAXのトラブルがありましたが、キチンと返金されました。 ドアマンの愛想が好感触でした。 しかし難点が一つ、Wi-Fi環境が悪いことです。 Esimの電波状況も悪く、オンラインミーティングなどでは仕事にならないほどでした。 インターネットの環境だけ注意が必要です。 その他はとても好印象でした。

ジャズ ホテル ペナン

出張で２泊しました。概ね満足ですが、気になった事だけ書き残します。チェックインの際にカウンター内には４人が立っていましたが、働ける人は１人だけで残り３人は待っている人が居てもお構いなしに、ボーっと立っているだけで対応しようとすらしませんでした。研修中なのでしょうか？　一晩目は向かいのビルの屋台街から騒音が聞こえて24時くらいまでうるさくて眠れませんでした。日本食レストランのお刺身は解凍が上手にできていないようで、スッカスカのマグロでした。　朝食の焼き飯はご飯の水分がなくなるまで炒めた感じでガリゴリしておいしくなかったです。これ以外は、満足していますし、事前にやり取りしてた会議室の使用にもスムーズに対応してくれて感謝です。ありがとうございました。
