It was so convenient to be able to walk directly from the door, with the Pennine Way literally on the doorstep. Would highly recommend as a base to explore Malham and the beautiful Yorkshire dales. 」

「We recently stayed at Falcon Manor for a weekend getaway and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome – the building itself is stunning, set in beautiful grounds with sweeping views over the Dales. Our room was immaculate, full of character with high ceilings, period details, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, with lovely touches like L’Occitane toiletries and fluffy towels. We especially enjoyed the peaceful view...

All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. 」

「First time staying at this lovely 16th century hotel in beautiful Burnsall. Everything about my visit went well, my room was lovely, clean and comfortable. As a sole older woman traveller, some hotels are less accepting of the fact I'm by myself but the staff here were kind and friendly and it makes a huge difference. I will definitely go back. 」

「We stayed for just one night, picking our son up from D of E at Aysgarth Falls. The landlord and lady were so friendly, and had a few beers with us. It was a gorgeous hotel packed with character. The bedroom was very clean and the whole stay was so enjoyable. The breakfast was top drawer, and sobtasty. We walked to the waterfall as advised, well worth it. Thanks to the incredible hosts. 「Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. 」
