"Points positifs:Hôtel près des pyramides et du grand Musée. Situé dans un quartier bouillonnant d’activités. Personnels gentils. Points négatifs: un peu loin du Nil du centre ville ainsi que les autres attractions. Entrée de l’hôtel n’est pas évident. Même l’adresse n’était pas évidente pour les chauffeurs de taxi et Uber. Le Petit déjeuner n’était pas attrayant."

"Viaje Hotel should not be listed on Expedia. The property shown in the photos does not resemble the reality at all. What appears online looks like a concept in someone’s head because what exists in reality is an unsafe, poorly maintained building that is closer to an abandoned structure than a functioning hotel. The elevator is unreliable, and the stairwell (five flights) is unsanitary with the smell of urine, visible feces, and severely damaged flooring. The room was a tiny box with unfinished walls, poor ventilation that made it difficult to breathe, no balcony as advertised, and windows that provided no sound insulation from constant outside noise. The breakfast area was equally unacceptable, with flies everywhere and food conditions that did not appear sanitary enough to eat. In more than 20+ years of travel, this is one of the worst accommodations I have ever encountered. Properties with conditions like this should not be listed on a platform travelers trust. Expedia must implement stronger vetting and on-site verification before promoting accommodations that put guests’ health, safety, and trust at risk."

"The room was terrific and cleaned twice a day. The front desk made my 60th birthday very special with a room upgrade, gifts, flowers, and cake. We added on the buffet which was excellent and filling. We also added the club lounge access which was very satisfying to come back to after a long day in Cairo. The staff could not be any nicer and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would come back for sure."

"We had an excellent stay at the Atum Hotel. It was my boyfriend and myself (two Americans in our 20s), and we felt very comfortable and safe here! The staff, the room, the food, and the location were all incredible! The staff was very helpful in arranging our pickup and offering to book tours for us. The room was nice with high ceilings, a nice shower, and lots of storage. The hotel is the 4th floor of the building, and the elevator is pretty sketchy, but other than that, everything was great! There are many restaurants right outside the restaurant, and it was fun to sit inside or outside at the hotel cafe a look at the city. The noise in the room wasn’t too bad, and we slept with earplugs and had absolutely no issues. Definitely recommend! "
