"Unfortunately the Hotel was closed on my arrival even though I had a reservation. With help from the local police I did after fifteen mins gain entry. The staff were helpful. Garmin satnav did not find the Hotel I had to use the Waze app. Improved stable stair rails really need to be fitted. Overall on a bright summers I am sure you would enjoy a pleasant stay"

"We found Casa Babel to be an excellent location for our three night stay in Extremadura. We happened to be the only guests at the time, it being low season, so we had the entire place to ourselves. We were warm and comfortable in spite of the weather being quite cold and had everything we needed. We had a very pleasant four hours birdwatching and photographing with Jose although January isn't the best time of the year to see birds. Would highly recommend."
