"Parking in hotel was crazy for a Canadian like me.. have never used a car elevator before and of course parking spots are just enough. But all in all hotel was amazing and magical would stay again and hope to return one day."
Parador De Jarandilla De La Vera

"The room was lovely although small for a superior. There was no free bottle of water or tea/coffee making equipment which is the normal for a Parador. The staff did provide these after we asked for them. Bed was very comfortable, bar staff were very nice although service a little slow. Food was delicious in the restaurant. The building was beautiful with very pleasing decorations. Would recommend this area especially for the gorge swimming areas."

"The receptionist at check-in was amazing. The room was lovely. The restaurant was okay but nothing amazing. The location was off the beaten track but that suited me. A lovely place to relax for an afternoon."

"Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Plasencia is abit of a dump but this hotel is a wonderful oasis. We stayed with our dogs. They had a big bed and bowls and nibbles welcoming them. We had a stunning suite. Loved our stay there"

"I stayed for business trip and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to me from when I arrived. My Spanish is not great but were always helpful to try and help or accommodate me. Breakfast was good and the evening buffet meals had variety of choice. Many of the guests clearly visit for the pool and spa facilities, as well as hiking trials and cycling routes in the area. I did not have time for this but had an enjoyable stay and would return due to the practical location and friendly staff."

"This place is rather grand and cavernous - but feels more like a place for conferences now (there's no bar to relax in), and the wide staircase and long stretches of corridors made it feel like The Overlook Hotel in The Shining. Despite having very few customers, we ended up in a room with a view overlooking what looked like the staff kitchen and cleaning room, and the central core of the hotel (basically all the metal shafts, etc.), where water was constantly dripping, echoing all night. Saying that we enjoyed the weirdness, and the staff were excellent, as was the buffet breakfast, which was included."
