"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. It seems that Expedia did not ensure proper quality assessment with the owner. When I book through...

"The staff were great - very helpful and polite. The location of the hotel was perfect transport walk into the city centre. The pool was a bonus - one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel, it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good - choice of continental and cooked with wide choice, kept topped up."

"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large. We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem. We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"
