Guest Houses in Gambia

"I love the environment, very serene"

"A decent place in the centre of Farafenni "

"This hotel said that I had to pay on top of paying to Expedia for my reservation. Of 30 euros a night even though I paid expedia for 7 nights. Kept saying that Expedia have not paid him, very upsetting but tried to not let it ruin the holiday."

"Amazing stay at one world. I was made to feel so welcome by Mustapha and his team. I had everything that I needed in my apartment and was able to use the communal kitchen to make food. The guest house was very close to the beach, which suited me really well, and having a pool was an extra bonus. Thanks to everyone at one world 🤗"

"Très bon accueil. Nous sommes arrivés de nuit. L’hôtel avait organisé notre réception à l’aéroport."

"Spacious room, cleaned every day, lovely staff and very friendly. Property is in a good position, 5 mins walk to beach. Would recommend and going back again in March. "

"The area is very peaceful and quiet. The staff is very helpful, helped us find a couple things locally as needed, however, we stayed 10 days and they only cleaned once. The toilet is leaking and the wall leaked when it rained. I extended my stay and they wanted cash not for me to use credit card.. "

"Nous n'avons pas eu accès à la chambre parce que selon eux, elle n'était pas nettoyée. Et ils n'ont fait aucun effort pour trouver une solution."

"It is isolated. So you're not within walking distance to a local shop or restaurant. Fortunately, the staff cook a great local meal. Anything you request, they'll prepare it. Cold drinks are also available although a touch expensive. Power going off is a constant battle, but a solar generator makes life pleasant indeed. They don't help organize trips so you're left to yourself to explore the local area, which is tricky in the wet season when we were there. Beautiful, peaceful, clean, and great...

"I had a great stay with Helen, Sarjo, and Abrima at the Mango Lodge... it was a great base for birding! The food was great, and Abrima was so kind to get up early to make me breakfast so I could be out on the road by 7am for my fabulous birding adventures. I had the best time birding with local birding guide Kebba Sosseh!!! Can't wait to return :D"

"Small hotel outside the tourist area. Pleasant stay, helpful staff."
