「So far everything nice in Grains Bar Hotel. Just light so dark 」

「Run down hotel. Cracked walls. Unrefreshend smell to the room. Not worth 1/4 of the $$$ I paid. Getting out of the bathtub was a fall hazard. Shower pressure was low...on the ground floor I wonder what its like on the top floor. Very unpolite and discriminatory frontend staff. Had paid for a quadruple room but was given a lower occupancy room. The only positive thing was the comfy bed and having a roof over one's head.」

The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay. We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )」

「We didn't take up our booking because we were advised by our friends and relatives (one is a member of the local constabulary) who live locally that the hotel is filthy, poorly managed and used more as a hostel for undesirables. We were advised not to stay there, consequently we didn't even see the establishment so cannot confirm whether that is the case.」

「This is the second time we have stayed here, in two months. Once again, we cannot praise the whole experience any higher than absolutely excellent. The location for all amenities, the staff for their help in making our stay wonderful. The hotel itself, including the rooms, are to the highest standard and cleanliness. The food is also excellent, lovely choice of breakfasts.」

「Nice comfortable double. The room was a good temperature throughout the stay. If known was going to be placed in a room facing the road would have brought earplugs as I am not used to traffic. Reception was very helpful and quick check in made sure that my car was in sight of the security cameras. Happy to use this hotel again.」
