Lovely heritage historical small hotel. We were upgraded to a heritage room. Room was large with separate shower and toilet, and all very comfortable but the lighting was a bit too low.

The Bartizan
The staff were so friendly and attentive. Helped us get a taxi to the airport and allowed for a late checkout, since no one was staying in our room after us. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset, breeze and watch the people walking on the fort paths.

Clean room, very nice staff, great location to explore Galle Fort. Charming Dutch architecture. Breakfast is very basic, but ok.
