"Our stay at Grotta Resort was very comfortable and the staff were amazing. It’s very convenient if you want to do Gorilla trekking. We were picked up and dropped off at Kigali by the resort, our driver Enock really looked after us and made sure we arrived at our destinations."

Although Google Maps initially led us to an impassable road, the local community was kind enough to guide us safely to the camp, which we truly appreciated. "We had an amazing stay at Ruhondo. The staff were all so welcoming and kind, particular mention to Jana 😊. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. We had a lovely walk/hike along the lakeside and up into the village together with a gaggle of local children - more and more joined us as we walked 😊. The location is very peaceful and I would thoroughly recommend "

"The house is a 15-20’ walk from the center. Difficult to communicate with the lady (no French, little English) but her husband speaks fluent French. Excellent breakfast, clean and spacious room."
