Second time I've been there, and I can tell you, definitely a good place to stay, very friendly and helpful staff, good size, good price, and good location, for people who's first time visiting Seoul myeong-dong is ideal

We’ve been a repeat guests for Sejong. Really appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities. The room was clean, even housekeeping did a good job when we requested for our bed to be made. The only thing that didn’t change is the worker’s union protest, that seems on-going even before covid. Fortunately, they didn’t bother hotel guests but get a bit crowded when the protest at the lobby though.

The location is right in the heart of Myeongdong, very close to all the shops, but the rooms are quite small. The hotel is situated in a commercial building, with its entrance tucked away in a small lane, which makes it quite difficult to find at first. Additionally, at night, the lane is often lined with bags of rubbish, and there are usually people smoking right in front of the entrance. There are also a few stairs at the entrance, so you’ll need to carry your luggage when checking in and out. There is also no front desk service between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. In case of an emergency during the night, you would need to wait until the next morning for assistance. We experienced a clogged toilet on our first night. Since there was no front desk available, we had to wait until the next morning for it to be fixed. As a result, we couldn’t use the toilet overnight, which caused an unpleasant smell. However, once the staff arrived in the morning, they were very nice and helpful. Aside from the toilet incident, the hotel is generally acceptable for the price we paid. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly and convenient place to stay, it could still be a reasonable option.

The location was perfect and although the hustle and bustle of the streets was right outside our window, we barely heard anything at all. I would definitely recommend this property!

The room was spotless and had everything I needed for my 7-day stay. The staff were friendly and spoke English, which made everything much easier. The hotel is in a great location—just a 6-minute walk to the train station and the Myeongdong area. The nights were quiet, and I slept very well. The bed was comfortable and soft, and the room even had a large refrigerator, which was really convenient. Overall, a very comfortable and hassle-free stay!
