The hotel staff have variable english skills but they are very helpful. The nearby village has lots of great restaurants. 30 minute drive to Rusutsu."

"Great breakfast options. Japanese, western or buffet. I chose western. Premium fresh fruits, pastries, famous Hokkaido milk, different juices and many more. The outdoor onsen is beautiful. Our room with lake view, we could see the lakeside fireworks at night and beautiful sunrise in the morning. The best of all, they let us check in early since our room is ready. And the check out time is not till 12 pm. White gloves staff services through out the hotel. The room is extremely clean. We would definitely will come back. "
