Very spacious apartment and responsive host Altough be careful it advertises parking available on request and a washer and dryer there is no parking and no dryer…but drying rack is availble. I VERY creaky floors, no one above us but i felt terrible for the people under us everytime i walked, even on tippy toes it was uncontrollable…. 」

「It seemed to have all that we needed, apart from a draining board, and was in a very good location. However we were surprised to find on returning to the flat on two nights that someone had taken up residence in the doorway.. He was very polite about it and caused no trouble. 」

「Very nice new unit, air conditioning works very well, roomy, well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely private patio with sun loungers and a million dollar view of funchal and the ocean far below. Has a washer and dryer that do not dry to north american standards, you have to leave clothes out on the patio, but that is like every place we have rented in Portugal so far. A high end dining road with numerous restaurants including a Michelin two star, but also with more reasonable options, is a block away...

「I thought my little double room was just right and very cute. I highly recommend it for the location! It had utensils and pots in the kitchen cupboard and a small fridge which is handy. I really enjoyed my stay. Sound travels easily through the door but I didn’t find it an issue. Great option for solo travellers that don’t want to stay in a hostel. 」
