We found our stay here acceptable. We wanted to save money so you get what you pay for. It was clean and just over 1km from Hakata Station.
We had the double room so it was small compared to Canadian standards but we are in Japan so we expected as much. You get all the amenities you would at any other Japanese hotel. Fridge and blow dryer in room. Razors, shaving cream, body wash, shampoo are all provided. Free coffee in the morning - found in lobby. It was just my mom and I, and we are both small, so sharing a bed wasn’t an issue. Not much floor space to put your bags. Bathroom was huge though.
The hotel was in a great shopping area - easy to walk. Not as close to the subway but busses were a plenty and easy to catch. I believe the day pass was 900¥ if I remember correctly. Each ride accumulated as you went so in the end, we did use our money’s worth. You can walk but we are over a week into our trip so our feet get sore a lot quicker. Hopping on the bus was a lot easier than walking to the subway and catching that.
